Pollinators are the quiet workers behind so much of what we eat and see blooming all around us. bees, butterflies, moths, and many of small creatures move pollen between plants that make up most of our food supply. without them, entire food systems and ecosystems would begin to unravel. personally, Wes and I rewilded our yard over the past two years and have growing our biodiversity back up intentionally with our pollinator garden and unsprayed yard. we love these little bugs so much for the blessings they can bring. As an artist I always find my way back to bugs, I love to tattoo and draw them, might as well give back to them as well!!
(Pollinator donations will be made to the Xerces Society, they protect the natural world, invertebrates, and their habitat. And as a mention of food, a regional food bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina feeding people and reducing waste).

A note about the art: I draw my art on paper with a Pilot pen and scan it in, or I draw directly in Procreate on my iPad. As a professional tattoo artist, graphic designer, and everyday artist, I've developed my natural flow through the high stakes of permanent marks on skin, canvas, and paper. My drawing and tattoo style, we lovingly call, "Vintage Fine-Line" when printed on paper is ultra satisfying and lush.
Through objects, experiences, glimmers, and natural expressions, I find a sense of connective life here in our shared reality. I hope the art brings as much joy to your space as it does mine.
